Mi Cumpleanos!!! Feliz Cumpleanos a Mi!

Today, Weds, 10/26, we practiced the clothes, creating a drawing with random index cards of clothing described on them.
To describe our drawings, we used the verb llevar.
LLevar: to wear
Yo llevo----- I wear
tu llevas---- you wear
el/ella/usted lleva----- he/she/usted wears
nosotros llevamos-- we wear
ellos/ellas/ustedes llevan- they/you all wear

We took the clothes quiz, talked about Me Gusta and handed out Cuaderno pages 14 & 17 for homework, working on Ser and Me Gusta.

la semana del 12 y 14 de octubre

Once again I've forgotten to blog on Weds, sorry! Wednesday we practiced body parts, sang "Don Alfredo Baila..." to learn some body parts, and labeled our partner with post its to practice body parts. A handout of Grammar Help pages (four photocopied sheets) was passed out to teach and reinforce the idea of "articles": el/la, los/las, and direct object pronouns: un/una, unos/unas. We also worked on Ser, the verb "to be".
Homework Weds was to study for the Body Parts Quiz on Friday.

Friday: Practiced Body Parts, then took the quiz. We practiced more with "Ser" and briefly introduced items of clothing, "La ropa".

Homework Friday, due next Wednesday: Write a sentence with a visual for each pronoun and it's form of the verb "ser"- to be. You should have 9 sentences and visuals total.

Today we practiced then took a quiz on Pronouns and numbers 1-100. We practiced TPR and learned the names of many body parts.

Homework: Modern Art Body: Cut out pictures of body parts from a magazine or online and put them together on a piece of paper to form a body of mismatched pieces, like "modern art". Then label each body part using the Spanish word. Due next Wednesday.
