Friday we practiced conversations, colors, and number, introducing the numbers from 1 to 100. Here's a helpful website to hear and see the numbers: http://www.donquijote.org/spanishlanguage/numbers/numbers1.asp

Visit the website!!
We also practiced our action verbs with TPR, and worked on the Pronouns, and listened to a song called: De donde es?

Today in class we went over the brain and how it learns a second language. We talked about the months and days of the week, and the letters in the alphabet. We talked about why its good to learn a language, and went over the course outline and syllabus.

Homework: 1. Read the photocopied packet I handed out, and answer the questions in Section 1. For Section 2, read over the information about the alphabet and start memorizing the alphabet.

2. Go over the Syllabus with a parent and both student and parents need to sign, I want everyone to know there are a lot of hours students will need to spend outside of class making sure that they know the words. 8)
