Today we went practiced telling time, and then introduced new vocabulary (verbs) and new concepts that students will need to complete their Cuaderno packet for this chapter, pages. 43-48.
Verbs:
comprar- to buy

estar- to be (temporarily, such as location or emotion/mood/feelings)

tomar- to take/eat/drink
vender- to sell
visitar- to visit

Today we practiced school locations and reviewed snack words. We learned the verb "Ir= to go", see below, and also how to tell time. Ir is explained on page 130 of the textbook, and Telling Time is on page 132. You will probably need these pages, as well as the vocabulary page on page 143.

el vaso de... jugo- a glass of... juice (agua, refresco, jugo de fruta, etc.)

la biblioteca- library
el auditorio- auditorium
la oficina- office
la piscina- swimming pool
el gymnasio- the gym/gymnasium
Homework due today was to draw the snack foods, a visual dictionary. There is no new homework because we were missing so many students this morning.

Today we worked on Hay Que and Tener Que, and started "El Estudiante Ideal" poster. Students were to create an ideal student, like the example on page 112. We'll present them in class on Friday. Our workbook packets (Cuaderno) were finished and collected.
